Outer yard container fees rise

Recently, several netizens revealed to Yihangyun that multiple container yards outside Shenzhen ports have陆续 issued price increase announcements, announcing that starting December 1, they will adjust the "loading and unloading service fees" at their container yards—commonly known in the industry as the "yard booking fee."

The specific increase will be as follows: Starting December 1, 2025, Shenzhen's container yard charges for export containers will rise—small containers will go from 36 yuan to 50 yuan, while large containers will increase from 56 yuan to 80 yuan.

According to Document No. Shen Fa Gai (2011)144, "Notice on Clarifying the Nature of Charges and Related Issues for Container Yard Enterprises in Our City," our company has been charging container shippers, consignees, and their agents a loading service fee of RMB 36 per 20-foot container, RMB 56 per 40-foot container, and RMB 56 per 45-foot container, effective April 11, 2013.

This fee has remained unchanged since the date of implementation. Currently, our company is facing significant cost pressures, including rising land rents, personnel wages, and raw material prices, putting our operations in considerable difficulty. To continue providing container loading and lifting services to a wide range of shippers, consignees, and their agents, we are adjusting the on-board service fee—based on Article 6 of the "Price Law of the People's Republic of China," which allows operators to independently set service prices—and hereby announce the revised rates as follows:

Starting from December 1, 2025, the boarding service fee will be adjusted to:

RMB50/20, RMB80/40, RMB80/45 ft
