At 16:10 on January 1st, at the operation site of the country's first fully domestically produced and independently automated terminal - Shandong Port Qingdao Port Automated Terminal (Phase III), the last container of the 'New Quanzhou' ship was successfully loaded. The average single-machine operation efficiency of the bridge crane reached 60.2 natural boxes/hour, marking the tenth time that the Shandong Port Qingdao Port Automated Terminal has set a world record for loading and unloading efficiency, welcoming the New Year with a 'good start'!

It is understood that the recently put into operation Shandong Port Qingdao Port Automated Terminal (Phase III) project is the first fully domestically produced and independently automated terminal in the country, achieving six major independent breakthroughs and 12 innovative results, marking that China has a completely independent and controllable set of solutions in the field of automated terminal construction.

After the commissioning of Phase III of the Shandong Port Qingdao Port Automated Terminal, the total length of the fully automated container terminal coastline reached 2088 meters, with 1652 meters of usable coastline. Thanks to the renewal and upgrade of the A-TOS and A-ECS systems, as well as the large-scale application of the first fully domestically produced automated electric control system, the comprehensive service efficiency of the terminal has improved by 6%. Less than a week after its commissioning, the automated terminal has set a world record again, confirming the advantages of new technologies in operations and fully demonstrating China's technological strength in the field of automated terminals, helping to achieve high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement in ports.
